Have you actually done this? Did you have any difficulty with teh glove box assembly feeling like it was caught somewhere near the upper left corner?

I haven't attempted it yet , I just got on and i was going to install in this weekend. I was told that if this is the first time putting one in you need to cut something... and that's what I am trying to find out about.

Any suggestions ???

Thanks Ed

Not sure about cutting something, but I followed the directions and am pretty sure I accounted for all the screws.

There is a component connected to the glove box in the upper-left corner. You can get to it with some pliers and pop the two clamps out.. This was with my 2000 Max, when I installed my Apexi rev/speed meter.
