My New Home!!!!

That is right.. I am the proud new owner of a 2003 Maxima SE 6-Speed Glacier White Pearl..

This puppy is BAD ***! Fully Loaded (except Nav), totally rockin!!

Capitol Nissan in San Jose HOOKED ME UP!! I had a few other local dealers asking a couple hundred more for the same car, but the Capitol dealer drove out there this evening and picked it up for me and got it down even below the lowest offer from another dealer..

A special thanks to Alan Teel.. He's worked at that Nissan dealer for 4 straight years and it is OBVIOUS! He is an AWESOME sales rep and knows his stuff (which means a lot coming from someone who expected that they knew more about the car than he!!)

Pics to come tomorrow.. Getting the special "touch of class" sealant and interior treatment tomorrow morning..

Thanks to all who encouraged me to forage on and not to settle for a used, or an 02, or an auto!!

I can already tell this is a great home, I'm glad I can now officially call it mine!

First up on the list, rims, wheel locks w/spline lugs, HID protection, tint, and lastly a stereo..

Speaking of, anybody in the market for 4 BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Maxima SE 17" Alloy Rims and tires (only 60 miles on them) - They are the high polish (argent finish) ones that come with the Titanium pkg.. I'll sell them for like $700 + shipping.. PM or Email me if interested!! I have one person interested who wants a 1 for a full-size spare -- if you want a full size spare, PM me and you can get one for $175 + shipping!

Then I'm sure I'll work on the rear sway (helped a lot on my civic), front strut (ditto), and coilovers (double ditto)..

Later,
Kevin

What's up with your sig? Are you mad about the "Freedom" Fries thing or something? If France is so wonderful why aren't you there?

I miss my Civic EX.. I have Greddy Turbo kit with Greddy IC.. I adjust 10 pound of boost with Greddy Profec B.. I upgrade the DX transmission because of longer gear to help the turbo get along.. It have Carbon Fiber hood with lock pin, Type R front lip, and Si tailight.. I lower it from Ground Control and Tokico shocks.. The ride is firm and stiff.. Man I miss my Civic so bad but Im happy with my brand new 2k2 Maxima.. I do like my Maxima but Im going to sell it and get PRelude or Type R.. I just let you know

HID protection

What do you mean by HID protection? I just bought a '03 max and they're getting stolen from here. What can I buy to protect them?

There's a HID protection kit available for these, but I have heard it just locks your hood -- meaning if they REALLY want your HID lights, they will have to use a crowbar, bend up the hood corners, and then yank them.. which might be worse, although might also mean a new hood from your insurance (carbon fiber)..

also, I don't know how it locks the hood.. might be electric, might require a key.. don't know..

Congrats and welcome home. The org is the place to be. By the way, once you found the org you've already been bitten by the mod bug.
