Who likes their rear-end??

rear light design
Ok, think of a car that has not gone to some variation on the triangular rear lights. Of all the designs, the Max shows the most creativity and uniqueness in design, esp. with the SE version. What is up with the angled Camry rear? Was someone bored and had a mandate to make a change for change's sake, or what? Looks goofy!

I actually like the SE "blackout" lights as the Nissan salesman like to call them. When I got rid of my 2001 GXE (for other reasons than styling, despite them making a difference to me) I was glad to get the black tail lights amongst many other things. I had the spoiler on the GXE which helped loads (sorry to you guys with GXE's I'm not knocking you) Maxster's looks damn hot tho without the spoiler and the black lights...the kit and lowering maybe? I think the black tail lights MAKE the car, along with the lack of those tacky fill-in plugs for the lack of fog lights on the GXE (and no cap over the rear window stop light for the after factory add on of a spoiler to a GXE). That's what made me choose the SE above the GXE again second time around (along with the silver dash, the bigger wheels, sports suspension, sunroof, fog lights, shall I go on? hehehe
