2k1 with Intakes

it was around 75 degrees in boston today, and i was driving around town, and the car just doesnt have any acceleration from 1-3.5krpm, no matter how much gas you give it, it just doesnt pull fast. could this be because of the hot weather?, when it was 20 the car would pull really good but now its like a 4 cylinder. is there anythign i can do??! if not i am pretty sure i'm gonna go back to stock so i can get back the torque at the low rpm, cuz it sucks driving like that

anyone exepereincing the same situtation?

Going back to stock or getting a CAI would probably be your best bet. My car is starting to feel a bit hesitant like you say here in Phoenix, so I'll be changing something pretty soon.

CAI requries to put a whole through the fender, i dont want to do that, so most likely i'll just get back to stock, around how much time does it take to put the stock airbox?

Maybe it's time to clean that filter ! or change those spark plug... The engine will always better response with colder air, I'm also 2k1 auto with BerkTech Intake ( I have a Y-Pipe though ) and my car run solid, I've race a few time with 2k and 2k1 auto, I've pull on them everytime, it may be time for a visit at the dealer or time to put on a Y-Pipe.

Cheers
