im currently going to purchase piaas for my 2k1 max..either plasmas or super whites.....but if i replace just the heads..will that leave my stock fog lights looking a little weird in contrast with the heads?

I think it would look odd. I'd just replace all four bulbs so you dont need to worry about it.

I got piaa h4 super whites and it doesnt look bad at all. Of course if you replace your fog lights, they would look a lot better, but for the time being, im satisfied with my piaa's.

It will. I had my PIAA H3 Extreme Whites burn out in couple of weeks. SO i send them back and while I was waiting for a replacement I had to put halogens on. It looked bad.

i only replaced my headlights in my 2k1. the silverstars made the fog lights look even more orange than before but they seem to have better visibility in inclement weather than the silverstars do. besides, im too lazy to do my fog lights even after doing the fog light rewire.

i have the piaa plasma gt's in the headlights, they look great, i love 'em. as hid-ish as i've seen for under a hundred bucks.

the fogs will look a bit weird and lame next to the piaas. but you're right that a yellower light will do better on wet roads.

i'd recommend piaa crystal ions for the fogs. the yellow-purple is great in the rain and a nice complement to a bluer headlamp. and very non-stock looking.

the big reason to replace the fogs, too, is that good aftermarket bulbs are so much brighter! the stock fogs are practically just running lights... they don't really shine enough to assist your vision in inclement weather.
