how hard to swap out bose system in my 2k?

Just wondering how hard it is to swap out the bose system in my car. Crutchfield says "no problem" and shows me all shorts of things I can add...

p.s if this had been asked, sorry. I tried the search feature but it didn't work.

It wouldnt be hard. For future stereo questions you might want to put this in the audio forum.

It's not that hard cause the speakers aren't individually amplified like in years past. Although I'm not sure if the car needs to be rewired or not. Only the BOSE sub has its own amp. What are you planning on getting? I was looking at some speaker and HU setups, but don't have the cash for it now. Also, if you do end up installing a new system can I take a look at it one day?

NP. I'm blind, where is the audio area? Anyways, so it should be a easy wap then? I was only THINKING about it. Wife is giving me dirty looks right now.. But after hearing what a good set of subs sounded like, showed me what I was missing again. My old 91 Civic Si pounded but that was years ago.

The audio area is near the bottom of the forums page. It's one of the last forums on this site. What kind of subs did you hear? Are you planning for a complete A/V setup or are you just going to do a stereo setup?

Yes, or just the HU. Check the FAQ in the audio forum for more details.
