for those you who have viper 790xv's

should the alarm go off if the door handles are lifted up?

Only if the door opens then when you lift the handle will the alarm go off. Unless you have a proximity sensor and you set it a little sensitive then it will go off.

hmm that kinda sucks, my old prestige alarm would go off if i barley lift on the handle without opening the door.
