Another SES light question

Another SES light question

I was wondering how do i find out what my light is on for? Can i find the code myself without having to tak it into the dealership? Also, how do we reset the ECU?

You can have the code pulled at a local Pep Boys or Autozone for free. Or you can buy an OBD-II (sp??) unit that you can plug in, and pull the code yourself.

To reset ECU, I think all you have to do is leave your battery unplugged overnight.

It has not been confirmed that this resets everything. Try it and let me know if the SES light goes off.
