Lowest miles on a 2001 Max
I'm at 14,000 km (8750 miles)
I got it Sept of 2001 and I haven't driven it the last two winters. My winter car that was suppose to die over a year ago refuses to do so, so I keep driving it and save the Max for the long road trips. When it does finally go I'll start racking up more Max miles

I picked my 2001SE up at the dealer on April 4, 2001. As of today (4/17/2003) it has 10,593 miles on the clock. Yeah, it's my "garage baby"- I try not to take her out on rainy or snowy days mainly because it's such a pain to maintain the Grey Lustre in a respectable manor- it's a dust/dirt magnet just like Super Black. But when its' clean,
.
It's been garage so much recently that last week I had to replace the battery- it died from lack of running/charging for a long time. (Damn upstate NY winters!
) Guess I'm killing this car with kindness!

My understanding was that you should take it on longer highway trips once a week or so ..... maybe I'm on crack
Re: Lowest miles on a 2001 Max?
Hey all! I think I may be the winner out of everyone here. I took delivery of my 2001 Sterling Mist SE/ Frost Leather with all options on April 5, 2001 and to this date I have a total of 4,185 miles on it. It's really a shame but I can actually walk to work (two miles both ways) and my Max is a second car for me. My other car is a 1994 Nissan Sentra LE. Just like another member mentioned earlied, I too had to replace my battery! Just thought I would add my two cents. Thanks. Again, my magic number was 4,185.
I think Bran Da Man takes da prize!
Just that u know, my Max is indeed a daily driver...I just happen to live 9 miles from work, can take mostly back roads (WHEEEE!) and best of all: only three traffic lights in those 9 miles! I also travel about a week an month & the Max sits in the garage; that helps I'm sure.
