Stock Alarm problems

Hello people,

Someone broke into my car last week and took my stereo and amp. My stock alarm did not make a beep...so I get this new alarm installed and now sometimes my stock alarm horn goes off when I disarm the new alarm or after i stop driving and open the door. Do I need to completely disable the stock alarm or did the alarm guys install the new alarm wrong? Thanks guys. I have a 2001 Black Max.

does your new alarm have 'disarm factory alarm' output? if so, was it used? also, you should make sure your installer used Diodes on wires connected to the SECU.
