when i bought my 2k max it didn't come with any remotes, however instead of buying one i decided to just use an extra remote that is for my moms 2k that she doesnt use. so i programed it and although it now works on my 2k, it also still works on my moms car and when used on my car and i unlock the car the lights do not flash but on my moms they do. any suggestions guys?
i used the programing directions listed below posted recently.

1. Close all doors
2. Insert key into ignition and remove 6 times within 10 seconds. Hazards should flash twice.. Withdraw key completely each time.
3. Insert key and turn to ACC position
4. Push any button on keyfob once. Hazards will flash twice.
5. Open Driver side door. Test out keyfob.

 

I think the key pads from your moms are different go to E-bay and buy one appropriate for your car or see if the dealer will program it if possible! g/l

they are both 2000's and both SE's

 

for some reason I thought your moms was a 2k2! Don't worry bout me lol, i'll be ok. too much time in front of the cpu today Work has been boring!
