any have remote start?

I was thinking about intalling a remote start. Does anyone have one installed? What kind is it? Where is a good place to buy? I heard that you also have to install a bypass switch or something. Any info would help.
Thanks

I have remote start, turbo timer and a BUNCH of other featers, impact and motion sensor standard.
Yes, I do have a 5sp and no bypass switch. This alarm has to be set while the car is running in neutral.

I have one too works great.
I had the dealer put it in.
Just a little advice, If your thinking about putting one in yourself
FORGET IT!!!!
I put one in on my old car, took 2 hours and kept not working on and off and causes more problems.
Its best to have a pro put it in.

One more thing... word of caution... Some alarms work great some have problems. I've had my impact sensor replaced 2 times and the brain replaced 1 time. The installer whom I know pretty well (big business) he had his impact replaced like 4 times... SOmetimes no matter what setting you have it on, whether it's low or very sensitive, the impact sensor will sound but your car could be in the garage...
Other than that, it's an AWESOME alarm. lifetime warranty on everything.
You can get actuators for the windows to auto roll down, up. you name it, this alarm does it.
I didn't waste $100 on a turbo timer. the alarm has that feat. built in. mines set for 45 seconds.
Good luck.

I've got the Clifford (Viper Now) Matrix RS-3 responder, it has paging and every feature possible including remote start and turbo timer, I bought it from Best Buy for like 400-500 but there is a guy on here that can get them for like $250 then you have to find someone to do the install. The system works great with the stock, as I didn't have to disable anything with the stock and it still functions with the stock remote. Hope this helps

Re: any have remote start?

I had Compustar SpreadSpectrum Alarm put in yesterday, this thing is awesome. I am getting the remote start wired in on Monday. This is one of the very few alarms that truly supports remote start on a manual tranny.

Did anyone of you have to get a extra key for your remote start to work properly. The installer at best buy told me that he needs my other key to install the remote start system because it wont start without the key's program chip in it.

That is correct and if you ever loose a key and go back to the dealer to reprogram your keys you will have to get the chip(extra key) for the remote start reprogramed also

Yeah, you'll definitely need to buy the DEI 555U for the bypass module. And you'll need a spare key with a programmed chip from Nissan. I personally own the Viper 550 ESP, but I'd recommend you the 790VX or the Python 2-way pager. If you live in NJ, I'll recommend talking to Don (a.k.a. Pearl96Max). Hope this helps.

Vadim: Watch out! Your Compustar spread spectrum system doesn't come standard with a tilt sensor! (only has shock) I discovered that it doesn't have tilt when my rear right wheel/tire was stolen and car put up on a piece of wood. Go back to your local Compustar installer and ask for a digital tilt sensor to be added to one of the auxilliary ports. Should cost about $125 installed.
I really like the paging and autostart function. It works great from waaaaaay far away. ;-) Oh yeah...get wheel locks too.
