Tint, Instrument Bezel, Markers
Just got a 2002 SE, my 4th Max in a row. Have some questions about some appearance mods, maybe you guys can help a Max Old Timer out:
# 1 ) Tint, White 2002 SE needs it. Have Lumar on the 98 which us pretty good, but is it still one of the best? What colors do you guys think I should look at on the white one? I need pretty dark ( in Florida ) a reflective quality would be nice I think.
# 2) Indiglo Instrument Bezel( ? ) Got on ebay, looks way cool but no install intructions. Any advice on install? Anyone have experience that they look and work as cool as they do in the pics?
# 3) Got clear side markers. Anyone have install advice?
I love this site and my Maxima's! FYI, the 98 SE black / tan leather 97K loaded is for sale in Tampa under Kelly if anyone's interested. Appreciate the feedback!

Dunno bout 1 and 2...cept that i think black tints look hot on white max's. But with the side markers...You need a flat head screw driver and rap it in a lil bit of clothe so u don't damage the paint. To take out the front side marker...pry it out from the back of the marker. Then on the rear pry it out from front to back. (always pry from the wide part of the marker) Its gunna take some muscle and its gunna feel like ur gunna break em but u gotta pry hard and they will pop out. Just be careful and watch your paint with the screw driver. Then the rest is easy and self explanitory when ur putting the new ones in...good luck with the new max.

1. I have no idea
2. It should just overlay over the existing gauges. You have to pull out the whole cluster. I believe there are directions in the "how-to" thread at the top of this forum.
3. Make sure you run a bead of clear silicone sealer around the outer edge to seal out the moisture. People, including myself, have had problems with condensation in the clear corners.
