Who has Injen CAI for 2K2-2K3?

I have a 2k2 Auto with this mod. I love it, though the intake sounds "non stock" I like the sound. The install was a pretty simple bolt on. The instructions are very easy to understand though the only problem or sticky area of the install came where the filter tube mounts to the block of the car. My car has a standpipe for the oil dipstick so I had to slide the CAI bracket behind the oil one and then mount, so it took a little longer than anticipated but well worth the investment. I highly recommend this mod. As for the Maf problems, there are several people on this board that experienced Maf problems so maybe do a search and find the root cause as I don't have any experience here and hope to not! Hope this helps and good luck with the modding

2. Very easy. Go here for better instructions than you'll get in the box (not my page so thank him if you use it):

3. No MAF problems here.

2) took me 45 minutes
3) This was my 3rd intake, I didn't unplug my MAF and haven't had the SES come on. Just make sure the piping inside the Injen is clean

1. I just installed it 5 minutes ago, but I like it so far. I can definitely feel a difference from 5000+ RPMs. I like it because it isn't loud unless you go WOT. Every day driving I will not know it's there.
2. I timed my install. 40 minutes, including test drive.
3. I don't see why it would, but I just put it on.

you should reset the ECU and the Throttle Position Learning after installing the Injen intake to prevent MAF failure! Follow the procedures below:

or just the first two?

you're right, it is the auto tranny fluid level dipstick. I encountered the same issue while I was putting on my CAI.

I have it. I love the sound it makes. Definately less sound than the Frankencar, but it sounds a little deeper.
I feel like it adds more low end pep over the frankencar also.
Easy to install and looks so pretty.
No MAF problems so far.
Engine Revs better means that it is breathing better with less restiction. Therefore, redline comes quicker than with the stock airbox.

Is that a carb sticker that is on your injen intake? The pipe right after the maf sensor.

I'll look at it when I get home and let you know.

I definitely think the FrankenCar is a bit peppier, but noise levels were my main concern.
Another thing- the quality of all the components is amazing and it was a perfect fit, especially with the mounting bracket on the lower pipe.

From looking at Greg's page, and some of the pictures here, it looks like the Injen filter sits behind the radiator. I haven't actually seen or taken a ride in a max with an Injen, but theoretically it seems like the Injen is sucking hot air from behind the radiator. Am I mistaken in the design?
TIA

He's right.

Thanks for the pic. I've called injen and they said that they would send me the carb sticker, just as long I fax them a proof of purchase. With the laws getting a little stricter, it can't hurt having a carb sticker attached to your aftermarket intake

It doesn't come on the piping when shipped...unfortunately, I lost my stickers...lol.
