i saw a post awhile back about someone on here removing the resonator...i'm looking for some noise...i hate the quiet engine and muffler (i know some of you will disagree)...so i'm looking for some sort of noise gain (not expecting any power really)...how much do you think it would cost to get this done or can i do it myself? any pics of install or what the resonator looks like? thanks

Any muffler shop can do it . . .

Should run you no more than $30.00 with aluminized mild steel pipe. It may cost a little more if you want to use stainless pipe.

Shop around. Removing the resonator is no big deal. But it's not something you can do by yourself unless you just happen to own a welder.

Your car will be just a little more noisy. I don't think it would be too loud or too quiet. Hold on to the resonator just in case you don't like the sound. As Y2K said it sould be around 30-40 dollars. Let us know how it sounds if you do it.
