CD Player Losing Volume???

I recently bought my Max and it has the Bose 6 disc changer. I've noticed that the volume decreases each time a different track plays. I have to hit the volume up button to get the volume back to the level where it was. And then it gets lower when the next song starts. It happens whether the SCV is on or not. I've read a lot of posts about Bose being a piece of crap, but this is frickin' ridiculous.

Has anyone else experienced this or know what the problem is? Thanks--

Mine does that sometimes when changing tracks driving down highway using the steering wheel controls (volume cuts down to what it usually would go to when you stop). Then all of a sudden the volume will jump back to normal after awhile - scared the crap out of me the 1st couple times. I chalked it up as a fluke with that stupid auto-adjusting volume feature. Can't wait to get my alpine unit installed; only thing holding me back is loving those steering wheel controls

btw, if yours does it consistently and its that noriceable, dealer should replace it under warranty. I just don't like the bose in general so I'm getting rid of mine.
