There is a black 04 maxima SE was trying to play with me when i was on the way home from work. I shift to 4th gear and hit it and so did he. we pulled it from 70 to 120, he couldn't get me. I pulled 3 cars away. It was a nice race.

 

i think the 04s are heavier than the 02-03s are. So, its very possible..

Really? The 2004 has 10 more hp though. Has anyone with a 2004 dynoed his car yet? I wonder what the numbers will show on the dyno..... 235 hp?

If you are an auto and hes a auto go for it, if your a 6spd and so id he go4 it again. if you are auto and he is a 6spd it will be close. Your call, dont do anything stupid and get your ride taken away. Your only 16 dude, you still havnt been driving long enough to read traffic too well, trust me when your 18+ you'll look back and say WTF was I doin. Its your money, do as you will with it just dont screw up. Btw in no way do I support street racing But have fun anyway.

if our cars don't have the supposed 255hp, u think the 04 is gonna have 265?? highly doubtfull....I bet it doesn't have 1hp more than our 02-03's....

 

I had a similar semi-race against a 2K4, he could not pass me. I think the extra weight makes the car a little slower than the 2k2/3's. I can say that Nissan did keep the good handling and performance for the 2k4, he was weaving back and forth through traffic just as well I was. It looks nothing like the Altima except for the headlights, its growing on me everyday but I will wait until the 06.

 

My sister bought a Saturn ION... they are decent cars for the money...

but nothing matches the MAX!

 

The Saturn looks much more different up close. And it's obviously smaller. I also think it came out right before the Maxima.
