Can't live without it. After my first sunroof I've had one car without, and hated it. And I've never had one leak or cause major problems (after 100k miles, my '95 didn't close level with the roof - it was still watertight, but caused a little wind noise).

It doesn't matter to me.I prefer not,but if it come with it I don't mind.Cause I don't really use them, plus they add more weight=slower max,and more likely to leak when old.

Depends how tall you are. I'm 6'5" rather have it w/o but I got one. Just drive with the material part slid open all the time.

I love it... It's a lot of fun driving with sunroof open. It somehow gives you a psychological feeling of not being claustrophobic... it also provides good ventilation...

If you are on a tight budget don't spend on junk upgrades like overpriced/overrated Bose sound and other stuff... atleast get the sunroof.

must have- would'nt get my Max w/o it (does anyone else think those plastic visors on the roof are f*ckin ugly?)

I really didn't care at first if I got it or not with my first and only Maxima. But the dealer gave it to us for free, and they were still a$$holes making me join a 'VIP' club blah blah blah...Anyway I really do enjoy having one, it's easy to get a tan without heading to the tennis courts.

I like it. You can warm the car a bit just by opening the shade and the light provided gives a nice open feeling.

I was driving up to Los Angeles yesterday and the A/C was cooling the car off a bit much but rather than adjust the A/C I slid the shade open and let the sun warm my wife and I. I have the rear windows tinted one shade above limo tint so that helps keep the car interior cool on hot sunny days.

If it was just a solid sunroof I probably wouldn't get the option but the glass moonroof is an option I really wanted.
