Who would win

99 automatic SE vs 2003 automatic SE

No mods to either car...just a K&N air filter in each one.

Would it even be close? Would the weight difference between the 4th and 5th gens be enough to make it a race or would it just be a slaughter?

I'd say the 84 Olds Cutlass Ciera. I think a ford Pinto would dawg the server too.

That's what I thought. For some reason my friend thinks his unmodded 99 will hang with my 2k3. I know mine weighs more but I also have 65 more HP (according to Nissan) than he does. I guess after I get a few more miles on the engine I'll have to show him what's up!

Does the Cutlass stall every couple minutes and give you a message about having too many people in it? Then you have to wait for some people to get out and try to start it again. Then it starts, but as soon as you go to put it into gear it stalls and gives you the same message. Then for some reason it tells you to put the key in the ignition even though the key is already in.

Either way, I'll take the Cutlass.

OK... that is very understandable...

feels like we're on a game show now... first one to submit won't get server error, right?

I posted a thread couple of moths ago on the same topic. Friend of mine wanted to race my 2k2 with his 99, and claimed that he will smoke me cause he had manual. I laughed, raced him few weeks later, had over 3 cars on him and kept pulling untill I got to 80 and stopped. Did not want to get pulled over. Just race him and see. Lets just say no competition between the two
