Sunroof Woes

OK, last Friday Night my battery went dead with my sunroof open, and since i jumped it off and have driven it for a few days, the sunroof won't close. i tried disconnecting the batter for about 30 minutes but it didn't work. how can i fix it?

Sounds like maybe the switch is confused (if you miss the detents on the switch, the roof won't open or close - maybe it's misaligned). Try moving the switch all the way open, then all the way closed. If that doesn't work, maybe try closing it manually (with the switch all the way closed), then opening?

What you have to do is make sure that the sunroof is closed. then push the close side of the switch, you will feel a light click or you may even feel it in the switch, that will reset the sequence of the sunroof

Thanks for the sunroof reset procedures Griffy. I installed new Hella horns over the weekend and disconnected the battery. When I tried to operate the sunroof today it didn't open. Thanks again.

It won't move at all? Have you checked the fuse?
