Suspension Question

Sorry for all the questions lately, but once again I am very thankfull for all your responses.

I have decided to get in on the Group Deal for the GR-2's for $260. Since $ is kind of tight at the moment and this is pushing it itself, am I stupid if I do not change the springs at the same time, in other words, am I defeating the purpose of changing them in the first place if I do not do both at the same time or is it possible to leave the stock springs in while using the new struts and can one like the ride that way. Too many questions, so little time. Wish I had learned more about cars when I was younger. Getting this new Max has made me go crazy. All I wanna do is change things now. Grrrr

In shorth, I know I gotta change the struts, the ride presently sucks, gotta get a sway bar as well. Man this stuff keeps adding up.

the purposes of having lowering spring are 1.lower the center of gravity 2.get a sportier ride 3.look. if you are not into any one of the above...forget it. If you know in the future that you will add spring onto it, I would do it all at once and pay the labor for one time only.

I dunno how stiff the GR2 is....I heard it is close to stock. if so, prob. you wont notice any change.

if 260 is a good deal...get them now. But I would hate to see them sitting in my garage though. Those things are going to add up for sure I thought I would just lower the car and be happy with.
