Well I think those clears are worth the try, .
He could always flip the lights on, and they would be red, as soon as he would notice a cop car around.
I never had any problems with my black tails.

 

Any idea where you can get the clear replacing orange on the head and tail lights done? or if it was a home project how you guys did it?

 

If you keep your stock rear sidemarkers in, the clear tails should not be illegal. The new lexus truck has completely clear tail lights stock.

 

 

let me know what the final decision for the lights are i would love the all clear lights but don't want the cop hassle

 

I don't see you having a problem with the clear taillights.. I had Completely clear lights on my old car with red bulbs and never had a problem.. I once got pulled over for having a red neon license plate frame and he didn't say anything about the clear taillights.. I live in PA.. I had them on my old car for about 2 years with no problems.. I wouldn't mind having a pair of the clears..

 

Those tails look tight...they woyuld look good on a silver max

 

Yes they're clear, but notice that the RX330 still has red reflectors visible in the rear (on the bumper).

 

Ahh, so just buy a red reflector, stick it to your bumper and you're set.

 

How about red reflextive tape in the hamburger?

Well they wouldn't look so bad if you kept the red on top, at least the pp yellow lens would be gone soo...yah that's not that bad!! but if you keep it clear like the way it is, then I'll have to report you to the rice police and apc will probably praise you for doing something ricey...
