since my car was bought 2 years old..of course it had sum nasty paint chips already on it..now im geting a brand new front bumper and hood and i dont pay a dime becuz the idiot hit me from behind which is a plus..
do u guys think the paint wont chip as easily now since it probably wont be nissan paint?

 

just depends on the paint and how good of a job they do.

If the hood is beyond repair, see if you can get a CF one to replace it... It shoudln't cost more than OEM. When I was involved in a little accident I believe the OEM hood cost like $600 unpainted, insurance covered it so it didn't really matter, I just wish I was into modding at that point, saving 30 pounds never hurt anyone. Now I really can't justify the cost since the one I have on is newly painted.

 

I am having the same experience. Max got hit in the driver's side and messed up the front fender and door. They are going to paint the hood for me as part of the repairs. I just had the bumber fixed, so the front end should look great. This shop does good work.
