Nissan should start to recognize that we have the second largest community in the market. I think they should have capitalized on it, like they did with the z. The whole being a part of a community thing.
I feel the love in here all the time.

Maybe there will be a way we can once a phone number comes up or website and just speak are words.

We need to remember that in most other parts of the world, the Maxima's image is more like the Cefiro/I35 where Nissan markets the car as a low- to mid-level luxury car for the more 'mature' buyer. This target market really could care less for the enthusiast niche that is represented by this site.Originally posted by MyownNismo

I would think that Nismo would want to spend its resources on cars like the Skyline GT-R, Fairlady Z, and Nissan's smaller sporty cars in Japan because that's what they were created for. Nismo never has and probably never will support the Cefiro/Maxima, and I'm fine with that. In any case, our community already has a good, albeit small, group of performance companies who seem to have our interests at heart, and that is always appreciated.
For me, I'm just waiting to see what might be available from Nismo for my '02 SE-R.

Ah who needs it anyways. The parts won't be cheaper anyways, and they would likely dump anything major ie. headers/downpipes/blowers as R-Type anyways, which means not under Nissan warranty...

Well, at least we can get a NISMO license plate frame. I wonder how many horse power that's good for
I swear, if I get beat by an SE-R I'm gonna dump my Max in the river!

Why wouldn't North/South cams work in an East/West engine?Originally posted by wantasupra3
