Amateur Question- Changer install 20th Ann.

I recently purchased a 2001 20th Anniversary Max with the Bose system- unfortunately, it didn't come with a changer. I picked up a USA-SPEC 6 disk changer, but haven't found install instructions for it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Stephanie

If you just need the directions, you might want to give DaveB a call (# in the FAQ's). He might be able to help.

Do you mean adding a 6-disk changer to your stock Bose head unit? If so, there was a thread about it within the last few weeks. The title was something like, "Adding CD changer to Bose?...dealer says YES". I can't search but maybe one of our donating members will help you out.

I started the thread that BiggD23 is talking about, but its title was something like "Adding CD changer to non-Bose system, dealer says yes." The changer that you bought should have came with the necessary wiring harness. You can either mount it under the passenger seat, or in the trunk.
