Installed my KOBA foglights.

I went with the cheap route and purchases some ebay KOBA H3 bulbs for my fog lights. The install was fairly easy once I figured out how to get the clips back on. These pictures do not do justice to show a big difference. I like the change alot. I plan on getting a comparison tonight with the Koba bulbs versus PIAA.

Before:

After:

I just hope they last a while. All in all I am happy for my $15 purchase.

KOBA? Is that that knock off brand they sell on ebay comparing them to the PIAA Extreme Whites? Anyway, I can get a pair of those PIAAs for around 35 a pair.

Yes, it is a knock off. Does that 35 include shipping? My $15 included shipping. I am not saying Koba is a better alternative, just a cheaper alternative.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you there. I know what you're saying about it being cheaper. And I can get PIAAs locally from a friend who works at a shop.

No offense taken at all. I bought them more as a temporary solution for now. I also wanted to see how they stacked up to PIAA. I will find out for sure tonight and will post pics tomorrow.

Just an FYI...the high beams in my pick ARE the PIAA Xtreme White 9005s

I don't know why they are yellow compared to the H3 fogs, but they are

They are brigter and whiter than the stock ones though

Here is the comparison pics: Clicky

That will be SLOW load if you are on dial up. Camera didn't really do much justice, but you get the basic idea.

But the question is, do they look $20-$30 whiter? I do agree that they look great. t56gen3s were almost too bright IMO. When he first pulled up, I nad to kinda look away. I do like the PIAAs alot.
