what makes the later 5th gens ahve more horsepower then the earlier ones? Could u just transfe some parts to amke the earlier ones as fast? Also, is there an other differnece between the earlier and later 5th gen models that make the earlier ones slower?

 

the 02-03s have the 3.5 motor which makes them much faster than the 00-01s. Plus, the 02-03s with the 6spd offer a great HSLD which is needed for the power and torque the 3.5 makes.

 

Totally new engine with alot more displacement. As the old saying goes, "there's no replacement for displacement".

 

dont forget us 2k2-2k3ers have HIDs standard
