Sarona body kit + Tein springs: Question, is it possible?

Does anybody have the Sarona body kit and Tein springs? Is this too low of a drop?

I think my car will look silly if i don't lower my car as well.. I don't have the body kit on yet but it should be ready by saturday, and i was wondering if i should just go ahead and drop the car with Tein springs.

Also, how long will the factory shocks last on Tein springs? I have 11,000 KMS on my car already, an di just need the shocks to last until next year

it should look tight! I had eibachs on my stock shocks for a year. I do not know how the teins are...but you should be cool on the stock shocks for some time...

I would not recommend that low of a drop on stock struts. I had them on my Sprint springs and it was very bouncy. The teins supposedly drop lower as well.

My Sarona is on its way, I already have Eibach on my 2k Maxima. I think Eibach will be better for Sarona kit coz it doesn't lower that much, u'll have lower chnace of cracking your kit.

depends on where you live, if your in NYC, forget it, stock struts wont last for nothing on aftermarket springs

Well there is a guy selling H&R springs.. would this be better?

I did want the slammed look but with the body kit being fiberglass.. i don't want to slam it and result in damaging the cheap fiberglass kit..

I live in Toronto Canada, where the bumps are moderate at best..

The HR will last a bit longer on OEM struts, but if you get Teins or sprints definetly get KYB GR2's to pair em up with. I dont know how much more ground clearance the sonoran has over the stillen but as long as you go over bumps, driveways ect.. with caution and park away from curbs you should be fine, I havnt had much of a problem with my body kit since I got the Teins, infact I belive Rob van dam has an overall .5" more drop with his GC's then the teins will give but he has driveway problems from time to time. Looks like that extra .5" is all it takes to be rid of that problem, I can go at driveways straight on to be honest and have had not problems with them as of yet.

Another concern..

I noticed as a result of my system in the trunk that the rear sits lower than the front.. Thats why i was considering TEIN because it looks really bad when the front is higher than the rear... What do you think?

My ride measures (from the fender down) 25.5" in the front and 25.75" in the rear. I think considering you have a system it will probably even it out to be at 25.5" so you got some room to spare. On a side not just to make a point, I had aboslutly no problems goin over speedbumps even with 5 people in the car 3 of which weighed 250+ and I never bottomed out, not scraped the muffler, ect.. The only thing you really have to watch out for is parking blocks.

Dont worry about lower the car with body kit.. I dont mind about it because you need to drive careful whenever you go.. I have Ground Control Coilover and I lower it all the way down.. I already order Stillen Aero front lip and I dont mind it too low on my car with the lip.. I like the way it look.. SO keep in mind of how you drive and not to go under like pothole or overramp..

You are suppose to buy the H&R off me after I change to tiens or coilover!

But really, after you saw my ride and almost how can you even think of H&Rs?

Get the tiens and some GR-2 and I'll help you install em.

Well considering it but cash flow is tight..

I am going to get the kit on first and then measure how much room i have to drop..

Then TEIN/GR2 combo plus progress rear sway bar and FSTB..

As long as you have a 5.5" clearance at the lowest point on the front lip you will be fine. On mine the lowest point is 5.5" and like I said NO problems.
