Hi,

I've been considering the swap also, but my biggest concern has been the warranty. Any of you who did do the swap have a problem with the warranty? I've been warned by many in the car business (mechanics, dealers, etc. who have nothing to do with nissan) who say that even aftermarket alarms can void warranties. Sure they may have to prove it. But according to those people, if something electrical becomes a problem they can say the cause of the problem was the rewiring, a short in an unauthorized adjustment, etc.

What's your experience with this. Is this something to worry about? I'd do the swap, but on my < 8 month old car, I don't want to fool around with the warranty.

Thanks for your help!!!

Would the AE non HID lights look bad on a 2003 Sheer Silver Max? Bronze on Silver??? Or should I just stick with the regular 2001 lights?

And this past weekend it was in Crooklyn. I knew it was a bad neighborhood. That's why I parked in front and kept my eye on it. It surprised me that it took them like 2-3 min to get the job done.
id move the hell outta there..

im sorry but living a life surrounded by people who are blatenly ignorant and most likely cant even get jobs so they can buy their own things in life bewilders me..

i cannot be surrounded by people who cannot respect the things that i work hard for you shouldnt either.

well I know sheer silver is more of that metallic silver but take a look at this on sterling mist and you may change your mind (i am ordering these as well after this inspiring pic..hopefully the grille won't alter the look of the lights)

Ok, maybe I'm very mistaken... but I think some people have some misconception here...

the thieves are slipping a crowbar in and prying the headlights out, breaking the plastic, trim etc...
They take the headlight, but all they're interested in is the bulb and ballest.
The reason your lights are being stolen is NOT because they fit 00s and 01s
they would only fit the 00s and 01s if you didn't distroy the housing and most thiefs are distroying the housing.
this is why back a few days someone was complaining about the lights he bought on ebay, b.c the housing pretty distroyed b.c some theif ripped them from an 02-03s front.

Those are 2001 lights? or 2000 lights? I looked at some pics with 2001 lights and they don't fit properly. THere's a gap on the between the lights and the bumper. Another thing is the warranty. That would void out the warranty right? Well...I would consider changing the back lights too. Some of these thieves are stupid....and they'll look at the tail lights and still think that the front are HID's.
