For those with NAVI

Is it possible to have an aftermarket H/U with the Navi option?

I think it is possible, but I have yet to see anyone on this board who has done this. I too am looking into getting a better H/U to replace my Bose.

Funny you should ask, I'm in the process of doing this:

It requires custom dash work, but I talked to the installers and they said everything can be carried over... except the steering wheel controls (because of the headunit I am going to use), but who knows.. sometimes these guys can work wonders...

But yes, everything can be carried over like voice, cd controls etc...

Are the voice controls embedded into the wiring harness?
