Franken Intake with weird noise help!

Got a question guys:

Starting yesterday, between 1000 and 2800 rpms, when I step on the acclerator, I hear this high pitched whistling noise from the car. Anyone know what's wrong with it? Once it hits over 3500 rpms, the high pitch whistling noise seems to have stopped. Any advice?

Thanks

Those intakes do that... I think its a pretty cool sound, almost sounds like a turbo but not quite.

Ohhh. So it's normal when it sounds like something is loose in the engine compartment? Weird how when it was first installed, it didn't have that noise; until after 2 weeks of installing it, i hear that noise.

Try this... I noticed when I had mine installed that it only does it at a particular amount of throttle... Like when I would give it between 30-35% throttle it would make that sound but not if I had less or more than that. (and don't quote me on the amount of throttle, I'm not 100% sure). But as far as loose goes, are you hearing the whistling sound or something knocking???

The whistling noise is totally normal. When you have your throttle at a certain position, the throttle plate (you can see it when the intake is off, right at the beginning of the intake manifold) is at an angle where the air trying to go around it starts to whistle.

No knocking sound...at least not yet. The second I press down on the acclerator, doesn't matter how much is presse down, i would hear this whine/high pitch wistle then it seems to go away. Weird how it happened all of a sudden yesterday while driving on the highway. Also weird that 9 out of 10 times, i hear the sound.

yup the sound in totally normal it's caused by the design of the throttle plate. the air whistles when it's only partly open.
