Tein drop seems uneven on my car
Oh no, not another Tein thread...
At any rate,
Just installed the tein springs with GR-2s on my car and it has quite a bit of rake. there's alomst an inch difference between front and rear of the car (Measured outside of the jacking points). I thought everybody said that the drop is even ? I alaso have quite a bit more of a wheel gap in the back as compared to the front. Anyone noticed the same thing ?

not mine... i didnt cut the front bumpstops, so the car is EVENed out, but the rear drops just a half a Cm lower than the front, nOT much... only noticable by me, not by anyone,,,, i guess i am just weird about perfectionism...

Well bumpstops should not affect the way the car looks at rest. It is really interesting that your back is lower than the front.... my back is over an inch higher than the front...
Anybody else ?
Anybody else ?

What is the measurement from the center of the fender to the ground?
This is where the term "even drop" is coming from. The wheel well in front is cut much higher than the rear. Therefore, you must lower the front more than the rear to give the look of an "even drop" That's why a lot of guys do not like the H&R springs. They almost give a true even drop but leaves the rear looking lower than the front.
Bumpstops have no effect on ride height.

Height off the groud is as follows:
Front fender lip (on the wheel centerline): 25.0"
Rear fender lip (on the wheel centerline): 26.0"
Front side sill jacking point: 6"
Rear side sill jacking point: 6.7"
Front fender lip (on the wheel centerline): 25.0"
Rear fender lip (on the wheel centerline): 26.0"
Front side sill jacking point: 6"
Rear side sill jacking point: 6.7"
