So you want to replace the tweeters in the front and door speakers for the front? You going to run into a small problem there. Being that the bose speakers get a different voltage signal going into the speakers. So basically you cannot use the stock Bose amp to power anything but Bose speakers. So basically if you replace those speakers, you have to replace all speakers and the amp. You "can" make it work with the stock headunit with some fine tuning. But recommended you change that out. But if money is tight, your minimum change is going to be all inside speakers and 4channel amp.

100% inaccurate. Bose stopped using this crazy setup on 4th gens. Bose 5th gens are very easy to swap components on. I have done this on two Bose 5th gens now.
