I'd figure dental floss would work. Didn't mingo say he shaved his emblems off?

they way i got that stupid dealer logo off was to get an old credit card and wrape a layter of electric tape on it.
then you you just stick it between the car and logog and it should work like magic
then i used quick detailer to clean it off

Why you wanna shave the emblems?

You have a black car, and the emblems are dark. On my grey lustre, they blend in pretty nicely . As for the DEALER logos, well, that's a DIFFERENT story !! When I ordered the car I told them NO DEALER LOGOS were to be placed on the car! And those stupid license plate frames with their name on it went into the trash in about 30 seconds after I picked the car up. Got some nice black Euro style plate frames from the local auto parts store, with the black plugs to cover the 2 screws on the plate. Looks MUCH better!

glad u noticed

yes dental floss works. but it'd b alot better to use fishing line. it's stronger and wont snap.. the dental floss keeps snapping. NOTE the "nissan" logo has two prongs so if you ever remove it you'll have two stupid holes which have to b plugged up or else water will get in. i used bondo to fill it in. i fulled it in from the inside of the trunk. i dont' know how to explain. it's not hard but if u mess up u better wipe the bondo off quik or else it'll adhere to the car and u got your own custom logo. the "maxima" and the model badge ie. "se", "gle" don't have prongs they come off real easy. .do not use anything to scrape. after badges are removed there will most likely be some double adhesive material left over. dont' 'use your nails to pick them off. if u can peal it from an edge then good. if not. spray the sucker with wd40 and let it sit. rub it off gentally with a rag in one direction only (prevendts smearing) then wash with car wash detergent and wax if you want. it makes tha car look so ssoooooooooooooooo much better. (i hate emblems on cars) then since most of the adhesive backing is still on the emblem. take it and stick it on your pc monitor and it'lll be alot faster.

the above are just suggestions. if you damage your paint or car i am in no way liable for it.

g'luck debadging.. have fun

paint

oh i almost forgot if u wanna take off the "nissan" emblem then you gotta have touch up paint. after the bondo is applied and sanded down (u wanna sand it into the grove since the paint has thickness) after it's fully dry you should mask the edges off and paint carefully. i suggest you have the trunk open and paint it as if u were painting on a table surface. that way you won't get the dripping effect. it'll be a smooth puddle where it should be.. but don't expect it to turn out factory, as in blend in 100% there is no clear coat so it wont' look grand but it'll luck 999.. if u mess up on the pain wipe imediately by dabbing tissue on the paint to soak it up. don't wipe. it'll cause a smear thus creating annoying texture. i dont' have pix. scanned in. dont' wanna scan my comp is old aged. just think no badge. and it loox like no badge. pork chops always have hard times giving me tickets. hehe. g luck..
