it's closer to happening than you think... Al Gore said in 1992 he wanted to get rid of the internal combustion engine and is working toward that goal (well, *was* I guess, but now that he's damaged goods for presidency who knows).

Gore even called for a Global Marshall Plan, akin to the post W.W.II plan that rebuilt the economies of Europe, this Global Marshall Plan would help convert to cleaner burning technologies And, Gore of course called for the elimination of the internal combustion engine in his lifetime. This was the most controversial of Gore's assertions.

I haven't had my lights stolen, but to my understanding it does happen all over the place, not bad areas

I think Nissan should do something to make stealing the HIDs harder. From my understanding the kit that was mentioned above doesn't really protect the car.

Also, if only you have something to protect your bulbs then no thief will know that until they distroy the front of your car trying to get them out.

I don't know who's fault it is, but they seem way to easy to steal and there isn't an effective way to prevent this, an expensive secondary alarm isn't an answer to me. A class action suit I don't beleive is the way to go.
