How do you install the real 350z dead pedal?

How do you install the real 350z dead pedal?

I am talking about the actual nissan part. Does anyone have a write up or some pointers for me?.

It's easy. First thing you want to do is remove the aluminum from the black plastic housing. Then cut the housing down to size...leaving about 1/2" or so all the way around. I used a cheap little handsaw that I got from Hope Depot for about $3 to do it. Depending on how straight your cut is you might want to sand the edges smooth once you're done cutting. Then put the aluminum piece back on with the middle screw only, leave the 4 outside screws out. You'll need to get 4 longer mounting screws to screw into the floor...I used 1 1/4" stainless steel.
