I'd love to know where you're finding these for $40 for all 6. I'm going by Advanced Auto tonight to pick up a set for $10 each. This is the cheapest I've found them, other than online, which I can't do as I'm leaving next week on vacation so I need the plugs really soon.

Please let us know your source.

Ah ****! What a dumba$$ I am. Ignore previous post. I've edited it.

I am so use to my previous cars, I based this on 4 plugs. I have driven 4-bangers for 19+ years. 13 of those years in SR20's. First 6 cylinder I've owned is this Max. I had it embedded in my brain when I was calculating the cost 4 x $10!

Lol, no problem. I was really hoping though that you'd found a place that sold a set of 6 NGK Platinums for $40. I'd be all over that.

FYI, anyone who's interested in NGK Iridium plugs they have some on Ebay that are selling for $38.95 BIN plus $6.95 shipping for a full set of 6. I probably would have bought these myself if I didn't need them in such a hurry.

Yes, they're different and incompatible. The 3.5L plugs are longer due to the larger cooling jackets.

I'll let you slide because I'm in a good mood, but post in the newbie thread please. Also, if I may suggest, go w/ iridium plugs if you have a 3.5L.

Reason being, Ir's are a touch better, but are the same price as the Pt / Cu counterparts.

I wouldn't suggest this to a 3.0L owner just because of price difference (Pt / Cu / Ir) alone, but since the 3.5L plugs are all so close in price, Ir's >*

To those that have changed there plugs, what did you go with?

Also, I have 43k on my car now. Should I put my new plugs in now? My car seems to be running top notch. I was gonna wait until 45k perhaps 50k.

I noticed you didn't include NGK Iridium plugs in your poll! That what I'm running and they are 1 step colder, I do alot of freeway cruizin!
