1) very easy to access.....3 screws remove the steering wheel column cover. then adjust the steering wheel all the way down.

2) now, 2 screws hold in the outer dash cover. some tugging will get that out of the way. i think 1 or 2 harnesses are connected, so you can unplug those and the whole piece comes off.

3) 3 or 4 screws hold in the total gauge cluster section. after aht, slight pull it, looking from behind to see waht harnesses are connected. unplugging each one of those will take care of that. the only other "problem" is don't pull too hard, you dont' want the plastic clear cover of the gague cluster banging up against anything. once you have it in your hand, the bulbs are in teh back. they are V-2 bulbs. 3 and 5-watt bulbs. do replacements exist, i don't know, do aftermarket brighters exist, i dont' know. am i gonna attempt to put LED's back there. YOU KNOW IT.

note: i got a hold of an extra gauge cluster so i will be test monkeying that one for any other mods, like taking the needles off w/out BREAKING ANYTHING!!!

note: do not turn on car while any part of gauge cluster is disconnected. you will get the SES light. if you do that by accident, just drive the car around. it should turn off in 25 restarts if the error does not duplicate.

hope this helps.
