Remote start
I got mine from Nissan when I got mine. They said I had too because if anyone else did it and messed up my wiring they said it would have voided my warantty. I paid $400.00 for it but he gave me a deal on it because I was just buying the car. I think it goes for around 500 or 600 kind of expensive!!! The name of it is advantage and they will have too give you all new remotes and keys, I quess thats why is so expensive. A key with remote is almost $200.00. yikes!!!!
I have a 2003 that I added the DEI remote start to my factory key fob, it was very easy. All you have to do is hit the door lock button twice and it starts right up. Took me about four hours to install. I paid 130.00 for the DEI 551T (Remote start module) and the 555U (Imobilizer bypass). Any questions, let me know.

Hos did you program your factory remote to work with your remote start? I'm using a separate remote for my starter and it would be nice to program my factory with the starter.
Sorry I'm new to this... but what does the 555U do? Is it for the chip in the key? What exactly does it do?
And do I have to leave my valet key in my car because of the chip? Isn't this kind of dangerous?
