Oooooooookay, these forums are all messed up today

The post was asking, does anyone know where I can buy Raybestos PGD815QS (QuietStop front brake pads for a '00 Maxima) online?

I just bought all 4 rotors and 2 QuietStop rear (PGD540QS) pads from rockauto.com, but they only stock the PGD815 (organic) front pads, not the PGD815QS ones...
partsamerica.com had the PGD815QS, but their shipping weight spec. was messed up (it said 70 lbs. shipping weight--they were gonna charge me $39 for shipping! WTF!)

I'm wondering this too because I'm gonna buy those pads when I change my brakes for the first time.

Are Raybestos QS pad ceramic or semi-metallic?
Our OEM pads are ceramic, correct?

Are you sure that the QS pads can be used on the front? I was told awhile back that they are only for the rears. Anyone have these installed on the front and if so, did it have any effect on rotor warping?

I have them on front (2k max). What I was reading they suppose to be one of the best pads for regular driving. I like them. very good stoping. no noise at all. not too much dust on wheells too.

You dont have Pep Boys in your area ? I paid ~50$ .

I don't have a Pep Boyz around me. They play the damn commercials all the time, but we don't have any that I know of.

Anyone know which pads leave the LEAST amount of dust? Anyone ever tried Kelsey Hayes pads?

Try Napaonline.com for Raybestos Ceramic pads for the front of your Maxima. RBPCMX7318B $56. You can take 7% of that if you are a AAA member.

Thanks everyone, I stopped by Pep Boys and bought them. The PGD815AQS cost about $57. I'm still waiting on my rockauto shipment (4 rotors + PGD540QS rear pads) and then I'm good to go
