ok, here's my story...
February 24th and 25th will be the date of a "HPCCC" (High Performance Car Control Clinic)...it's basically a cover up for wheel-to-wheel open track racing. It's basically a road race, but, for the first ten minutes, a Solo1 driver rides with you to help you pick the lines better. After that, you're allowed to drive byself. It's a 1.8mile long road course. Each day, we get 3-20minute sessions (one hour a day) for two days, for the price of $100. Kick ***, right?

Last time, i took both my Honda CRX and my Maxima. day one was in the CRX...it was a lot of fun but i was on street tires. Day two was in the maxima. it was fun.

my CRX is the car for AutoXing and open track events, BUT, i don't want to run this HPCCC on my race tires. BUT, my street tires are corded and basically gone. I'd race my maxima, but, it's my daily driver.

So, here's where the problem lies. If i race the CRX, i need to spend at least $400 for Kumho street tires for my 16" rims. If I race the Maxima, i will want to get the stillen sway bar ($200?). But, I'm limited on money so the $400 on street tires will hurt me much more than the sway bar purchase.

So, what would you guys do? I'm really leaning on racing the CRX, but, a sway bar for the maxima would be schweet...but it wouldn't be as fun to race as the CRX.

Although racing the Max would be fun, the CRX would be more fun. Since you have a financial dilema... go with the RSB and Max. Get to know your daily driver better.

I agree... get the RSB and your daily driver will become much more fun!

Those new stuff aren't going to help you on the auto-x, but they sure do look nice.
