SES light

I have had my 2k2 max for a week. You guys have helped me all on mods and other things. Thank you all!! My SES light came on last night and took it to auto zone today(34,000 miles). Code P0138 came up and he said it was my O2. I see from other post that the code that comes up is P0420. Is this the same codes?

Thanks

P0420 = Catalytic Convertor Code
P0138/P0139 = O2 Sensor Code

The air/fuel mixture isn't switching between lean and rich fast enough within a certain monitoring period.

Do you have a Y pipe? If so, which one? If you don't, have your O2 sensors checked out visually. You could have a bad one.

I don't have a Y pipe yet. The dealer said it was the rear O2 sensor was bad. They did not have it in stock, so they reset my ECU so the light will go off. But he said it would come back on soon.
