Im trying to install the Injen on my 02 max. Im on step #4 where it says to bolt down the billet adapter to the air mass sensor with the 4- m6 X 16 bolts, however the bolts aren't big enough to hold the billet adapter in place. Did anyone else run into this problem or am I forgetting to do something. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

are you using the bolts that came wit the CAI or are you using the stock bolts ? I used the ones that came with my Injen and they are plenty long

 

Im using the ones that came with the Injen, they are barely long enough to go thru the billet adapter. And once they are past the adapter they arent wide enough fill up the mass air sensor holes. Are they supposed bolt in tightly?

I just figured it out looking at Greg's home install pics. Thanks for the help though...back to the install now!
