do yall think we could have them insured by insurance or are they not hearing that? is this hid problem with a lot of cars or mainly us because i never hear about it in boston. almost every car in boston has them anyway, hell there are 87 civics with em, lol...my gurls mom just pointed this out to me and was like make sure you can do somethin about this problem..

 

Could you not have the ballast # registered with owner info and put into somekind of Nissan or Maxima org database. I know that each ballast has a different #. Therefore if someone on ebay or your neighborhood crook is selling them you can check the ballast id# against the database to see if it has been reported stolen or a legitimate junk yard part. If you make it hard for the seller of stolen goods the thefts would decrease. Just my 2 cents.
