what would be required to convert my front bumper to the 20th anniversary edition maxima front,

i like my hids...and would want to keep those, but i dont see any front lips for the o2-o3 on the market and was concidering swapping over, would i be able to also retain my front o3 grill if i did swap out to the ae one?

if anyone has done this conversion...pics would be great!

 

The AE bumper went with the 2k/2k1 grille (which was mounted as part of the bumper, if I'm not mistaken). The grille is smaller than a 2k2/2k3 grille.

I don't think it would work...

 

You would have to have it specially modified/fabricated to get an AE lip to fit...with questionable success. For a direct fit, the entire bumper would basically have to be replaced.

 

well dammit....cant a company make a front lip (not like stillens squid version) just a basic AE looking one for the 02-03

 

MAKSYMALNY is right...the grill was part of the bumper until 2k2 and was slightly smaller so you wouldn't be able to keep your 2k3 grill. As far as front lips for the 2k3, there is one out now...the Sarona/Kombat kit. And supposedly Stillen will be releasing an Aero kit for the 2k2-2k3 sometime soon. Then of course there are the 2 front lips from custommaxima.com which I'm starting to believe will never be out, let alone photographed in person and not photochopped.

 

Up to yesterday I pose the same question.
Simple answer - NO!!! The 02-03 will never have a front lip.
