I didn't se that deal a few months ago but anyways, its still a good deal now for the price. Anything under $200 isn't to bad at all, other sights are charging $250 up to $350. By the way, did you get the dash kit a few months ago when that deal came out?

Why would you have to cut the grill in the 03? It comes right out and the grille-tech one uses zip ties to attach. The fact that they rust is another thing.

Thats another thing, Who wants rust!!! The trenze Grill is warrantied and it should never rust as its polished aluminum. if it does rust, I will just send it back under the warranty!!!

Maximo... go to the Body Dash site (www.bdtrims.com or www.bodydash.com) and you can order a sample of whatever material you are interested in. This is what I did so I knew to order brushed aluminum instead of aluminum. So order and compare to see what would go best with your interior.

I just ordered the brushed aluminum kit to go on my frost interior. I think it will look great and also compliment the AE interior trim. I may not use all of the pieces - depends on how busy it is. Thanks hct67 for the hookup.

Body Dash

So after you ordered a sample and you liked it what did the kit look like after you installed it. How did it look, did it look like it belonged in the car, I mean could you really tell it was aftermarket?
Just want to make sure its nice and will make the interior look sweet and not stupid thats all.

Does the brushed aluminum match the interior handles of the 2k2 SE? I want something that'll match the handles/base of the shifter.

I believe the Brushed Aluminum is the closet match for the door open/lock and shifter. Thats what I am getting is the brushed aluminum as I have the sterling mist color on the outside and the greyish leather on the inside.

It won't be hard, it will just be time consuming. One piece at a time thats all. Just make it equal to washing and waxing your car, one section at a time. I figure it will take me over a 3 day period to do it all. I just want it to look like the car came that way!!!

what I want to know is how the guy got the custom pieces for his aftermarket stereo kit (which i Use too). Mine was specially painted to match my current silverish trim, so it won't look awful with the titanium burlwood that I like alot.

Man I'm trying to fight off the urge to buy this, but I wan't to see how it works for you guys first : ]
Keep me posted!!!

I am going to order the Full Kit (41 pieces) in brushed aluminum for my 2002 Max SE. I have a frost interior so I think that it will look nice.

I think that $149.50 for the kit is an excellent price.

Hey hct67 go to www.bdtrims.com and check it out for yourself.

They offer a full fit (41) pieces for the 5th Gen Max for $149.50.

I just went on the sight and check to make sure.

A question for the guys that have these kits installed already...do they have the little symbols that are near the AC vents over the radio or are the stickers smooth there? If you look at the AC vents there are little raised air symbols (kinda like this ~ I think )on them so I'm just wondering if the dash kit stickers have them too.
