Do not cut your bump stops. H&R instructions does not call for it. I have this setup on my 5th and it works great.

So are you using your stock bump stop right now.I remember when I purchased my Eibach for my 4th gen.The instruction does said cut your bump stop about 1 and 1/2 in off. Does ne1 know why the H&R doesn't require to cut the bump stop(was this for 5 gen only),or was it that the drop is less than Eibach so it doesn't need to cut the bump stop?Thanx for your help.

The bump stops on my car are stock and uncut. Could be a different spring rate or drop for the Eibachs ?

I'm a stickler for reading instructions, and i remember clearly that the instructions out of the box did not call for it: Take old springs off and install new with all the original components as is.

My car has a great ride and is actually smoother than stock SE with less body roll.
