As much as I hate to admit it, I too wish I had purchased the 6 speed. My wife insisted that I get the auto so that she can drive it, but alas she's only driven it 3 times.

an auto it can get up there as opposed to the 2k4 auto's- but they lose against the 6 speed cause of the power lost to the tranny -
in every situation it'll be a 2-4 tenths slower- but then again its not a big difference-
But I know for a fact every auto owner when racing wish they could sqeeze the most out of 2/3 gear

Im coming up on getting new tires soon, what should I get to replace these falken azenis? I want something that I can drive daily and get superior traction in dry and wet conditions. The current tires I have now get great rain traction but poor dry traction, last time I was at the track I spun all of 1st and mid 2nd gear with my auto! and that was with 18psi in the front tires! MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE.. just whats the best tire. I was going to drop $239 a piece on some Bridgestone S0-3? from a local shop, but the guy in the back said it was a rip and to try the net.. I thought i'd ask you gentlemen first

Im sure 90% of the 5th gen guys got there best time after they got some practice. and when one runs a 14.8 someone tells em not bad for the first time out!! and when i posted my times of 14.8 for my 04 all I seemed to read was, " Knew it, slower than the 5th gen." Sorry if im dragging this on, just seems like 5th gen guys give us no credit. later guys
