For those that had the anti-theft kit installed on your headlights...

I am the second owner of my Max. The guy that had it before me had the headlights stolen, which the dealer replaced and installed the anti-theft kit. The headlights have rivets in them permenantly bonding them to the radiator support. I took my car to get the headlights adjusted and they can't adjust them because the headlights were installed a little bit too high. Since they are rivetted, (sp?) the tech at Nissan said he couldn't do anything and referred me to the body shop. To get the rivets drilled out, re-thread the lights, position them and adjust everything, I was quoted $200. The headlights were installed at Haldeman Nissan in NJ. What were they thinking? I know it would be more difficult for a thief to steal them, but how am I supposed to adjust the lights? My question- does anyone else who had their headlights stolen have the headlights installed with rivets? I might call them and complain. Nissan

rivets? dunno about that, its just a tamperproof or breakaway bolt... take a pic. I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt you'll have to rethread.
