I got drilled from behind :(

Today while stopped in the middle of the road for a school bus, some guy in a 3 Series Convertible nailed me from behind shoving me forward into a camry. My Max wasn't even drivable as the rear left fenderwell was shoved all the way up to the tire. The rear is completely mashed. The front has significant damage as well.

Tomorrow morning I am going to the tow lot to take pictures as well as get the keys to my friends TL-S out of the glove box (He's out town and I need a ride )

If I need a new left strut and/or spring will my insurance pay for the H&R's and Tokico Blues or what do I have to do. I am not sure how insurance and aftermarket parts works? Any advice/knowledge would be sweet.

Will post the pics tomorrow.

My man I feel your pain! I got my first Max on Saturday and early Monday morning, like 3am, this **** in a stolen car hit my neighbors car which was in front of me...So u know my whole front end was screwed!!! And would u believe this **** tried to hide from the cops in some bushes...the fool seen too many "COPS" sitcoms.
Thank God for insurance and not the BS kind cause they show nuff don't want to give up they money. Keep your head up!

And I too would like to know if insurance companies cover ur aftermarket products. Cause i'm going to put a stillen spoiler front end with mesh grille instead of the O.E. front end.

The purpose of insurance is to indemnify you, or in layman's terms, to put you back to where you were before the loss. If that means A/M parts, that's what it means. You should be fine.

Pine Island going South just a little north of Broward Blvd. I was in the middle lane. Dude in the BMW claimed he didn't know what happened. He said he slammed his head against the steering wheel when he hit me, I guess he doesn't know how to drive or put on his seat belt.(He was fine, if he was hurt I prolly wouldn't make fun of him)....

I didn't get any good ones of the front, but the bumber and hood are bent and scraped up.

ouch hopefully you are ok. Don't mention too insurance about your h&r's and blues. Let them pay for all stock parts b/c they are twice as much. Are you going too need a new headlight? If so just buy the casing from DAVEB and make about $300 by keeping the balasts from you current light. Good luck sucks too see another wrecked Maj Blue maxima.

Have body shop figure cost with H&R/Tok and with stock. If H&R/Tok is more, just pay the difference. If not, no problem. Labor will be same regardless.

I don't think so, he hit me pretty hard. Thank goodness for those active headrests

Its at a body shop that is owned by my Nissan Dealership down here. I wasn't sure where else to have the work done and the Guy's insurance told me to pick a place and have the car dropped off there. So I did.

How long does it usually take for them to fix this kind of damage?

WooHoo I get my car back Wednesday. Over a month it took them to fix it. I also had them paint my front Grille Majestic Blue. I can't wait to get it back.
